Season ticket applications will be accepted starting May 1,
2008 for the
summer season. There
will be no reduced rate for season tickets.
All
applications must be submitted to the Borough Office, 61 N. 3rd
Street, Hamburg, PA, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No applications
will be accepted at the pool. All
tickets will be ready for pickup at the pool refreshment stand on opening day,

to offer extended hours for excessive heat.
In addition, based on the weather, we are hoping to offer an event on a
Friday or Saturday of every weekend. These
events might consist of a swim dance, bingo or karaoke. Beginning
in June 2008, the Hamburg Pool will begin a senior aquatics program.
The program will run two or three days per week from 11 am to 12 noon. Anyone
55+ is eligible to participate in this program. The program will include daily blood pressure screenings and
education to promote wellness throughout the lifespan.
An occupational therapist and a lifeguard will be present at every
session. Each participant is
required to pay $45 for 12 sessions or $35 for 8 sessions.
Each session will last 4 weeks. The
12-session group will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12
noon. The 8-session group will meet
on Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Aquatics
or water therapy is designed to improve flexibility, balance, coordination and
strength, provide aerobic condition and achieve optimal range of motion.
Improvements in balance strength and coordination promote health and
health prolongs the ability to continue living, as you want to live. If
